I hired IconiQ to learn and play a string quartet piece I had written in a recital. They were absolutely professional, arrived right on time for rehearsal and performance (in spite of horrible weather, I would add), and did a fantastic job with the piece. We were very pleased with Iconiq. They were always prompt in responding to emails and their many recorded selections on their site helped us to get our thoughts together regarding the selections played at the ceremony. The guests continued with kudos all evening about the ceremony music. And on a personal note, I love Canon in D and we selected it as the processional. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! It made the day so much more special...if that was even possible. We would recommend this quartet to anyone!! Chris and Andrew

Such a pleasure to work with. We live in the UK and wanted to hire a quartet for our Central Park wedding.From the very beginning Iconiq String Quartet were prompt and professional when responding to our enquiries and were more than able to accommodate our song requests and taste in music. Iconic String Quarter did a phenomenal during my wedding. Everyone said how great they were and enjoyed the violinist moving around during cocktail hour. Everyone was professional, courteous, and played without fail.
My bridge and I enjoyed listening to the group. Should I find myself in need of a string quartet, there will be no need to look elsewhere as I would book Iconic String Quartet again without hesitation or reservation.
Appreciate everything you and your team did Bobbie - from learning the two special songs we wanted, and for being so easy to work with - you and your team are consummate professionals and I cannot thank you enough!

Fabulous group of players! We asked for a more classical wedding and they played very well. They even arranged one of my favorite arias "ombra mai fu" for the Candle Lighting. As a meeting & event planner by trade I know that your event is only as successful as the people you choose to work with. Bobbie was friendly, professional and organized during the preplanning and the group did a fantastic job on the day of. The fact that they are able to mix classical and contemporary pieces was the thing that sold us on them. I can't tell you how many times people came up to me at the cocktail hour and said in awe "Are they really playing Madonna?!?" It was a great mix of old and new and was a way to transition from the more formal ceremony to the reception. I would absolutley highly recommend Iconiq String Quartet.

We really enjoyed iconic's performance yesterday at our wedding ceremony. All the guest really enjoyed the music and they even played our first dance. My wife was crying. I hired IconiQ as a trio for the cocktail hour portion of my June 14 wedding celebration. I truly enjoyed working with Bobbie in planning this part of the day. He was extremely helpful with referring me to places to view their repertoire and song samples. I really wanted popular songs played and they had many options to choose from in their repertoire, and even learned a special song that we requested for the day of. Bobbie also was receptive to me sending song options/playlist from their repertoire. They played beautifully the day of and we received many compliments. They forgot to play filler music for some of the parts of the ceremony we didn't have a specific song for and they did not. But they sounded great when they did play.

Once the client decides the pieces or the times when pieces should be played, we notate and mark those special moments. In order to make sure the ceremony runs smoothly, we do not arbitrarily insert music; this is because we do not want to overpower any spoken lines, reverent silences, or intimate rituals not outlined in the program. Thus, if the client does not specify music or moments for it, we will not add selections. I apologize for any miscommunications, but if we do not know, we cannot play. Thank you.

The group was very talented, and they performed nicely. However, they showed up close to 10 min (for the ceremony). They said they would arrive at 5:00, and didn't get there until 6:10. Also, they played the wrong selections we specified for the ceremony.
They did, however, play the music pieces requested for the cocktail hour. It was a little hectic getting everyone situated on time and have no musicians to help guide the mood. I wish they did arrive on time, and that they played the correct song for the bride's entrance, however, it was ok.
I rate them at a 3.5 due to the eh-professionalism and the lack of attention to the most important song played.

We unfortunately did not anticipate such immense traffic, construction, or accidents on the route, and that is no excuse. In our haste to begin playing the music, we inadvertently performed the incorrect piece for the bridal march; there is no excuse for that. Please accept our apology and if there is anything we can do for you in the future (partial refund, free hour of performance, etc.) please let me know.
