From the first time I corresponded with Courtney, from the Riverside Quartet, she was wonderful! My daughter was able to choose whatever music she wanted, but she ended up choosing from their list of songs. The downpayment and the balance was all paid through GigMasters.com, so it was all very convenient. We chose to only have the Violin and the Viola play, and when the two ladies arrived, they were very nice and played beautifully. The overall experience was excellent, I only wish I could have been able to sit and enjoy them longer, but as the Mother of the Bride, I was wrapped up in the wedding details. I'm sorry to have to rate the Riverside Quartet's quality so low. They were very easy to work with and I had high hopes for a wonderful wedding ceremony experience. Unfortunately, their performance was not very good and certainly not in line with their fees.
As the bride, my first exposure was "Here Comes the Bride" as I walked down the aisle. Even in that wonderful moment, I could hear the dropped notes and internally winced a few times when things went off key. My husband and many of our friends confirmed that the pre-wedding songs hadn't been played much better.
I would not recommend for a high-end wedding.

Riverside Quartet was responsive throughout the planning process, prompt on the day of the wedding, and played beautifully during the ceremony. The rate charged was definitely worth it to us. They had a fairly broad list of offerings and even played some songs we wanted in the ceremony that weren't listed. Overall, we were quite pleased and would recommend to a friend.

The Riverside Quartet is absolutely first rate! We didn't have a wedding planner and did as much as we could ourselves. With very little input on my part Courtney Grant and the entire quartet did everything seamlessly. They followed the cues during the ceremony and even moved closer to the guests following the ceremony during the cocktail hour. The music was lovely and we received dozens of compliments for their work. I should have been more interactive with them as the groom/host, but I was overwhelmed. They did everything so professionally without needing my input. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism and musicianship.

I couldn't be more pleased with The Riverside Quartet. They were prompt with their reply whenever I sent them an e-mail. They were very professional, talented, and accommodating and I am very satisfied with their performance. I highly recommend The Riverside Quartet.

Riverside Quartet was a fabulous group to work with! They were extremely accommodating with their set-up location even though we had to shuffle them around multiple times due to heavy rain. They also drove two hours to be at my wedding location and were right on time. Everyone commented that the music sounded beautiful, and the volume was great for both the cocktail hour and ceremony. We had the violin/viola duo, and they were very complementary. Their sound matched that on the website. I would definitely recommend Riverside Quartet for any future events!

They were AWESOME!!
The music was crisp and fun. The guests were talking about the pop tunes at the reception and thought it was fun that they did not just play the typical music! Overall, I loved them and they made our ceremony special. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

Riverside Quartet played for my wedding ceremony, and did a wonderful job. I was overall pleased with the accommodating nature of Courtney, since she helped me via internet to book my ceremony music from 1000 miles away, and then had her team travel to PA from WV to play for my Ceremony. They also played a song I really wanted, which they didn't have in their repertoire, but learned in less than a month, and played fantastically! Thanks again for everything! Sara and Kori did an amazing job, I'd recommend this group to ANYONE!

Courtney was absolutely amazing! She was so accommodating and was able to work along side of an organist, a pianist and a vocalist. She was very professional and all of the musicians who worked along side her were blown away by her ability to sense the other musician's "feeling" with the music!
