Vanguard String Quartet is a D/FW based string ensemble that plays weddings, music festivals, corporate events, food and coffee venues, as well as partners with the Allen Philharmonic Orchestra for their community outreach events. Our Wedding prices are as follows: Ceremony only: $395, Ceremony + Cocktail Hour: $550. Other functions $395 for one hour, and $550 for two. The musicians play as a string quartet and string duo/trio and can partner with vocalists, flautists, and harpists for a variety of different musical experiences. The word "Vanguard" is defined as being in the forefront of innovation and exploration. The ensemble plays music from a variety of styles and genres with innovative fusion between them. Performances have included Weddings where pop music is combined with traditional classics like Canon in D and the Wedding March. - Corporate events playing themed music from a variety of genres such as bluegrass, Celtic, classic rock, & top 40. - String duos using electric violins and cellos playing a melody of pop songs currently on the radio at a local wine bar - Opening performers in a multi-day classic rock festival playing electric instruments and performing with a rock drummer and singer. - Traditional classical ensemble playing Mozart quartets for a retirement home. Vanguard Strings is managed by the talent booking agency Erin Shore Productions LLC. The company offers couples a range of acoustic folk and classical entertainment for wedding events. They specialize in classical string duos and quartets, harpists, Celtic, and bluegrass folk music through the 10 bands they activly manage and over 40 more they work with.
