John is talented, professional, and genuine. I wanted him for my wedding, he had a cancelation, and completely took care of business. As the nervous, busy groom, it was wonderful to have him in my corner. He worked with me, learned our songs, and handled it. Consummate professional and musician. Every guest was blown away (more importantly, my Bride), and asked where we found him. If you want a solid guy to TCOB, get John... 100% would hire again. I can't say enough good about him!

John was a highlight of the evening. He interacted throughout the party and had a great set list. The steel drum is such a great complement to his style and voice. Would definitely hire him again! Lots of complements from the guests.

From the first introduction, John was on board and helped us pull off a surprise milestone birthday celebration for a beloved member of our family in a very special way! His talent, tropical vibe infused music, and easy-going demeanor created the perfect ambience and brought so much joy to our family. John is a one-man band with his steel drum, guitar and awesome voice! He's great at reading the room and knowing exactly the right song to play in the moment. John performed at my daughter’s wedding on Oct 28 and did a wonderful job! Played so good and everyone enjoyed listening to him. Super talented. So glad we booked him. I would highly recommend him and would definitely book him again the next time we’re in the OBX.

We were a small party but John made it into a big event. We were up singing and dancing the whole time. John knew every request and establish excellent rapport with our group.ourhouse became a club as John took us through the 60's to today's hit. Want or need a party? John fits the bill.

John was awesome! I could not recommend him enough. We booked John to come play at our rental one night of vacation since now with the number of kids its tough for the adults to make it out to happy hour or dinner on vacation. We decided to hire John and it was a blast! Our whole group loved it and John was even great with all of the kids there. Our group kept talking about what a blast it was and want to hire John back again next year on vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

John did a wonderful job playing guitar and singing for both our wedding ceremony and the reception. We had a low-key beach wedding, and his playing and style of music was the perfect added touch to our wedding celebration. John was such a pleasure to work with on the days prior to our wedding as well. He was easy to communicate with and even offered and took it upon himself to learn a few special songs that we requested he play. We were so happy with our decision to have John perform on our big day, and we would strongly recommend John to others for many types of events.

Glad we hired John to perform at the company Christmas party. He was professional and is very talented. Wonderful on the guitar. I wasn't sure if our guests would get into Christmas caroling but with John's fun personality pretty soon everyone was singing! Thanks John.

John was very accommodating at our Event, which was a wedding Rehearsal Dinner. Everyone enjoyed his music style which was a perfect blend with the casual evening we wished to have. The volume was fine and he has a very pleasing voice and manner. He stayed in the background and certainly added to the ambiance. I would recommend in for anyone looking for background music and would book him again for such an event. Probably most suitable to a crowd of 50.

We were so pleased with John Baldwin! We had a certain idea for how we wanted this 50th birthday event to go, with live music being the centerpiece, and Mr. Baldwin was ready at each step of the way, in some cases on short notice, to help us make it happen, including learning some specific well-known but slightly quirky songs and adjusting his emcee duties as our rather complex party plan evolved in progress. Also, many guests complimented us on our choice of live musical talent. I would use Mr. Baldwin again, maybe with his full band next time(!), and recommend him to others without hesitation. Thanks again for making it happen, John!
