Let me take a minute to introduce the next great band that would love to work with you. STEAL DAWN is a Top 40 Rock & Roll Dance band has been performing in clubs, corporate events, and private parties for over 29 years! There's NO GIG TOO FAR for us! We'd love to come to you. Check out our official website for the most updated upcoming show listings. One of the things we love to do for clients is have you look at our extensive songlist and pick all the songs YOU want to hear! Sometimes, we are able to learn a song just for your event. We've got a lot to choose from (this profile is only about 20% of our list), and it will sound amazing to you and your guests. Here's just a taste of some of the great venues and events we have performed in our career: - The "World Famous" Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach (other artists to perform there - Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Frank Sinatra and many more) - The San Diego County Fair - Humphrey's Backstage - Petco Park (for the San Diego Padres) - The Music Box (Downtown San Diego) - Paradise Point Resort, Bahia Resort, Catamaran Resort, Cape Rey Hilton Hotel - Companies like Toyota, Hunsaker & Associates, GIA, Genoptix Medical Laboratory, etc. - Casinos such as Pechanga, Viejas, Sycuan, Barona and more - Local radio stations like 101KGB, 100.7 JACK FM - Events like Rock & Roll Marathon, Light the Night Marathon - The Marine Corps - And many birthday, wedding and anniversary parties... The group consists of Robert Adams (Lead and backing vocals, lead and rhythm guitars and keyboards), Andrew Frangos (Lead and rhythm guitars, and backing vocals), Phil Varela (Bass and backing vocals), and Jerry Schoen (Drums and backing vocals). We can also perform as a full band, a duo or a soloist! We typically play more than 50 shows per year. Our music style is very diverse and not just the "same ole thing" that you've heard around town. STEAL DAWN prides itself on playing the best current and classic rock & roll dance music. Many times, we are complimented on how much the songs sound like the original artist. That's the best compliment any band can receive! With music from Aerosmith to ZZ Top, Keith Urban to Rascal Flatts, Bon Jovi to Def Leppard, Bruno Mars to Usher, Ed Sheeran to Muse, Hall & Oats to Journey, Lenny Kravitz to Maroon 5, and everything in between, we definitely try to play music that can please everyone in the crowd! We specialize in getting the crowd into the show, and love playing parties. Many of our current fans started as as people that saw us or hired us for a party. We hope you will give us the opportunity to perform for your audience very soon. We have left a trail of VERY HAPPY REPEAT CUSTOMERS. If you are looking for the full 4-piece band, or a trio, duo or soloist to make your event special, we can make it happen! Thanks for your consideration.

Birthday Party (Adult)•Reviewed on September 11, 2023•From El Cajon, CA

this band was the greatest. they played all the songs that were perfect for the crowd that was in attendance at my party. Everyone kept asking me where I found such a great band. they all wanted their name and contact info. The guys in the band were all terrific - personable, professional, on time, accommodating to playlist, and much more. I would highly recommend this band to everyone.

Steal Dawn:

Thanks so much for this, Myrna! Looking forward to the next party for sure!

Wedding Reception•Reviewed on June 21, 2016•From Encinitas, CA

They were totally awesome!!! They were very accommodating throughout the whole process. They were friendly, fun and ROCKED the music. It was like having friends or family playing at your wedding. The dance floor was hoppin' all night and we even coaxed them into an encore. The song list was very extensive and they downloaded any songs we wanted for special dances as well. Having a live band at a wedding or any special event completely makes it a truly memorable experience. All of our guests were first "very impressed" that we had live music and then when they heard Steal Dawn play...they LOVED them. WHAT A NIGHT!!!! Thanks guys

Steal Dawn performed at our wedding on February 21st and I can't compliment them enough. They arrived early, accommodated all of our special requests, acted as our master of ceremony and performed flawlessly. If you are considering a live band for your special event I can't recommend steal dawn highly enough. Thanks again to the entire band! From Matt and Shannon
