Boston's hottest wedding band, comprised of six talented musicians from the South Shore and Boston. From Top 40 music to Hip Hop, Rock to Country, Indie to Motown, we play it all! Already a popular club band in and around the Boston area, we're very excited to be going into our third wedding season. Additionally, we're also available for any private or company event. "We had The Common Good play at our wedding at the Mountain Top Inn in VT. We had 220 people at our wedding and every single person danced. Jess was so fun to work with which made planning music really fun. So many guests told us this was the best wedding they have ever been to because the band was so amazing. They played non-stop dance music that kept our entire wedding going all night. My thighs still hurt from jumping around in my wedding dress all night! Their breaks were smooth and they played great dj dance songs to make the breaks unnoticeable. Most importantly, this band prefects 'Shout,' a wedding staple that was amazingly executed by The Common Good. :)! 10/10 best band ever!" -Allie H "The Common Good did an AMAZING job at our wedding. They are so talented and are able to perform many genres of music. They even learned a couple songs for us. Very professional and helped with the overall flow of the day. Awesome job. We were on our feet all night. All of our guests were very impressed. Highly recommended!" -Jen "We couldn't have asked for a more perfect band to help celebrate our wedding weekend with! My husband and I are from the boston area so we got to hear them play 3 times at local bars before the wedding season. They learned new music to play at our ceremony and met with us to go over details of the day. Jess and her band mates are not only talented musicians but also incredibly kind and so easy to work with. Our wedding was on an island in Maine and they travelled all the way there for us. They helped to create a fun atmosphere during the cocktail hour and played music that all generations enjoyed dancing to at the reception. We have received so many compliments on The Common Good since our wedding! My husband and I are looking forward to getting to hear them play again in Boston this winter!" -Sophie R "Picking a band for my wedding was the hardest task of the whole process for me. The Common Good was even better than I hoped they would be. Jess was amazing to work with. She was easy to get in contact with, beyond helpful with planning and even more amazing on the actual day. Literally everyone I have talked to about my wedding has mentioned how great the band was. They played to the crowd with a variety of music and got everyone up on their feet dancing. They were the best part of the night. I would highly recommend them!!!" -Nicole T
