From the beginning, Casey communicated in a very personable and professional manner. That attitude continued through the day of our wedding as the Casey Marshall Group (CMG) performed fantastic music that inspired dancing and the celebration we had only hoped for at our wedding reception! Our guests are still talking about how perfect the CMG was and we could not agree more!
The Casey Marshall Group was formed in the Fall of 2009. Perhaps one of the most versatile groups around, the group can provide musical entertainment ranging from a jazz trio all the way to an eight-piece band with horns. The group plays multiple genres of music including Top 40, Country, Rock, Jazz, and Funk.
CMG contains some of the most seasoned players in the area including: Steve Ramos (drums), Chris Wendle (bass), Matt Wiley (keyboards/organs), Maggie Glass (female vocals), Steve Pryor (horn section leader) and band leader Casey Marshall (lead vocals/guitars).
Shortly after graduating from Samford University with a degree in music Casey met long-time Birmingham horn player and arranger, Steve Pryor. Having performed with acts including Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, and The Temptations, his experience and professionalism makes him a key component to the group. If you are looking for a phenomenal horn section CMG is the band for you.
Containing the most seasoned players and the best horn section around, The Casey Marshall Group can literally cover any and every event including wedding receptions, corporate events, private parties and nightclubs.
