I manage and perform in two bands and am also a member of a Broadway production company:
1) Dave Bass Quartet - 4-piece Swing & Soul band:
Led by a vocalist and multiple instrumentalist who plays 4 saxes, flute and guitar - backed up by upright bass, drums and piano to round out the 4-piece.
This group evokes the spirit of 1950's jazz, Sinatra and the classic swing vocalists - as well as classic Soul, intelligent pop and original material.
The repertoire is huge; the spirit is classic and completely entertaining. The real deal.
2) Stolen Cash - 4-piece Country & Western / Acoustic Rock outfit:
Upright bass and drums fronted by two awesome leads - a male singer / guitarist with a burning charisma and a gorgeous female co-lead with a honey-toned voice.
This band does Johnny Cash - but in their own way, with their own arrangements as well as a wide range of acoustic roots & rock - Crosby, Stills and Nash, Bob Dylan, Patsy Cline - and original material. Acoustic, not electric guitars, and thumpin' upright bass and drums which can play sensitively or completely rock the joint when it calls for it!
3) Upright Cabaret - a production company that produces top-quality shows with Broadway singers (at the Ford, Americana, etc.):
I play horns for this group and can put you in touch with them should you need top-shelf Broadway entertainment.

As a musician, bandleader and manager my goals are simple:
1) Make the music as great as possible!
2) Give the client what they need!
* We have a huge repertoire of Jazz, Swing, Brazilian, R&B, Motown, Funk and Classic Pop - you choose the genre, you choose the songs. If we don't know it, WE LEARN IT.
* Over 15 years full-time experience, performing almost 700 weddings (so far) as well as tons of corporate gigs, clubs and festivals over a 12 state radius.
* I sit down with each and every client and map out a timeline and announcements, from start to finish, so we both know what to expect to make your event runs smoothly.
* We are expandable from a quartet (4 pieces) to a full 21-piece big band - but can also shrink to a trio, duo or even solo artist.
