N. Andre (BIG DRE) Williams Jr. a mufti-instrumentalist and vocalist and the leader of Dre-Dre & Co., along with his son N. Andre (JustDaNorm) Williams III. Big Dre started the band in 1981. The band can range from a 2-piece band all the way up to a 10-piece band with horns. Dre-Dre & Co. is known for playing a wide variety of genres from Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Country, Latin as well as R&B, Hip Hop and also Gospel.
Andre has played in many celebrity bands. The band’s Rhythm section Is the band behind The Manhattan’s of Sony Bivens. When not on tour, they play in many cities around the country., Big Dre was the guitarist for Luther Ingram and also Gospel Jazz Artist/Producer Ben Tankard. He has toured with Gospel Ambassador Dr. Bobby Jones and shared the stage with Brian McKnight, Howard Hewitt, Lenny Williams, Stacey Lattisaw, GQ, Latimore, Curtis Mayfield, Ami Rushes, Rodney Bryant, Eric Carrington, Earl Bynum and many other stars. He He’s done music for commercials and also played guitar tracks on the movie flashback. Currently The band’s Rhythm section Is the band behind The Manhattan’s of Sony Bivens and when not on tour, they play in many cities around the country, they enjoy producing other artists as well. Dre Dre & Co is PHENOMENAL!!! This band is a very hot ticket! They were professional and accommodating and they put on an excellent show! They played requests as well ad slot of really good dance music. Andre Williams is a serious guitarist and the lead singer sounded like Chaka Khan. They had everyone on the dance floor including a 70+ year old on a walker!!! Their sound is TIGHT! We're already talking about having them for a party this summer. Hire them. You won't be disappointed. PROMISE!
