Classic rock is their main genre with an emphasis on Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks, The Beatles, & Rolling Stones. As their music “takes you back” they also sprinkle in favorites from other genres: country, Motown, blues, & pop from the 60’s 70’s, 80’s & 90’s! They’ve also created custom medleys of the hottest dance tunes to keep everyone on the dance floor! and often add songs to an existing medley right on the spot, keeping audiences excited and curious and ensuring your guests never experience a “dead air” or an awkward moment. Upon booking Uptown Beggars, a band member or band representative personally meets with every client to plan and customize each event. Set lists and schedules are always catered to specific venues and celebrations, keeping everyone engaged and crowds consistently gathered at fairs, festivals, family functions, corporate parties, clubs and weddings.
