Ernest and his band were so nice and played the genre and songs we liked. They even played a song for our second line- we loved them! Definitely recommend!

Our attendees were from all over the USA and we wanted a band which covered the spectrum of music from the New Orleans area, as well as a mix of popular music from the 60s & 70s. Pooyai exceeded all our expectations playing rock and roll, country, blues, jazz, Zydeco and swamp pop. Lots of crowd interaction as well as chair dancing going on! Although not the sole motivation, they were extremely reasonable in pricing and willing to work within our budget. We had very positive feedback from our group and highly recommend Pooyai!

Thank you....you guys were great also. ..Call us in 4 years....or so...lol

Our family will never forget the down home music and ejoyable time we had listening to these folks. This band went above and beyond our expectations for talant, entertainment value, and group participation. My Cecelia loved playing the washboard during this event!. Thes folks even learned a new song (best day of my life) just for us. They played wonderful music during our dinner hour also. This was a great experience in the "Big Easy". I don't even know where to start! The Pooyai Band was outstanding! I can't believe how great they were and how easy they were to work with. They abided by all the requests. They drew in so much attention for our booth at the convention center. Everyone was raving about how great they were. They also had people interact with them by playing the scrub board! People loved it. We got so many compliments on the band because of how great they were. They were very good at communicating as well. Ernest was great in getting everything organized with me to make everything successful. I would recommend this band to anyone! They won't disappoint!

The band was wonderful and a great hit with all of the guests and the couple. They play a range of music that engaged all the guests, young and older. PooYai is a great choice for your wedding if you want variety, a great skit, and talented musicians. I only have one child, but if I had another wedding or celebration, I would have them back again! The Poo-yai band was perfect for our company event. They stayed in touch leading up to the date of the event, were prompt and ready to rock the house as planned. They were great for the variety of music they played and the talent they displayed. We are still getting calls telling us how much they enjoyed the band. Everything for our event went as planned but the Poo-yai band is what made the event!! Thanks!!

As the bride, everything was a whirlwind, but one thing I do know is...I danced!!! They were very in-tune to the crowd, kept people on the floor and wanting more! Ernest was great to talk to prior to the event and he brought all his energy to the performance. Pooyai is clearly a band that loves performing and they got people dancing who's feet had never felt the floor before, or for a very long time. Anyone would be lucky to have them play their party and I am certainly lucky to have started off my married life with such a great opening number. These guys were great!! They agreed to play for our wedding very last minute because of issues we had on our end. Everyone at the wedding also loved them. They asked everyone what they wanted to hear and we are still getting comments and compliments about the band. We could not have asked for a better band to start with much less to end up with by chance.

We hosted a huge event at a Hotel Ballroom and Pooyai Band rocked it!!! They were super flexible as we had to change location in the hotel last minute due to bad weather and they were totally flexible! We hired Pooyai band for our corporate tailgaiting event at LSU campus. The band worked with us to accomodate our unique event and budget. We were very impressed by the bands' communication leading up to the event, professionalism and value. We feel as though we got the absolute most "bang for our buck" in terms of sound quality, vocal and instrumental talent. In Fact, the band was so good, it attracted the attention of other tailgaitors who came over to our tent to take pictures and video of the band. The band has a great mix of authentic Louisiana Cajun & Zydeco music as well as modern tracks. We highly recommend Pooyai Band for any event, any size, any place.
