Barbara Jean, former Miss Michigan, is a professional entertainer, using her ventriloquism, comedy and music to help people laugh and enjoy life. Her talent and personality are an asset to any occasion as she proved to be the busiest Miss Michigan ever, appearing some 200 times in her year as Michigan's representative to the Miss America Pageant. Barbara Jean's performances include conventions, banquets, fairs, schools, corporate meetings, churches, and many other festivities. Her skills have earned many honors including area and national contests, with the most memorable being a talent winner at the Miss America Pageant. She has performed nationwide and has also enjoyed the privilege of performing in the Bahamas, Scotland, Canada and Japan. Barbara Jean has been performing professionally for over thirty years. Her PG-13 or gentler material has been very popular with organizations looking for good clean fun.

My wife and I were having a NewYear's Eve party for our local homeless shelter.. and wanted professional entertainment to be a part of the evening. Through "Bash" we Barbara Jean.. and she was fantastic. Her talent is completely professional, and extraordinary, and beyond that, her connection with the audience made the evening special. Barbara Jean and her husband 'Steve" communicated clearly in advance of the party, arrived on time, were efficient setting up their equipment, and as said, connected perfectly with the residents of the shelter.
