I began my career as a professional DJ working private events and weddings in 1986 performing under the pseudonym of DJ BMW. By the early 1990s, I moved on to sports bars and nightclubs. I was hired as the resident DJ in 1992, at the legendary Valley Ranch Cowboys Sports Café in Irving, Texas, the official hangout of the Dallas Cowboys football organization during the height of their Superbowl championships for Game Day Sundays. My rise to fame came in 1993 when I was asked to take over the existing Thursday karaoke show. By being the first KJ in the nation to introduce popular non-stop music in between the karaoke singers, I transformed the way karaoke shows were conducted at the time and turned an otherwise dull karaoke night into the fun, festive atmosphere that karaoke shows have become famous for. This created such a phenomenal buzz that it gained recognition both nationally and internationally becoming a Dallas Must-Do on Thursday nights for over 10 years and I was listed as one of the top 10 KJ's and Karaoke shows in the country.
In 1994, I became the official DJ for the Dallas Cowboy organization. I was hired to DJ game day tailgate parties in the Coral outside Texas stadium, the cheerleader tryouts, Annual Halloween Ball and the media annual season kickoff event. Over the last 36 years I’ve performed both locally and nationally at prominent celebrity events and countless nightclubs, sports bars, sporting events, comedy shows, corporate events, weddings, and private parties. I also spent four seasons as a featured extra on the Television series Walker Texas Ranger. BMW Entertainment, my production firm, has produced comedy events, A-list celebrity parties, Karaoke evenings, dinner-murder mystery performances, concerts by well-known national acts, and special guest nightclub DJ appearances since its inception in 2000. I currently produce and DJ the weekly comedy shows Sippin' N Trippin’ hosted by comedian JJ Williamson from K104 FM's nationally syndicated DeDe In The Morning Show at the Addison and Arlington Texas Improv Comedy Clubs, DJ on stage for comedy shows and concerts at the Texas Trust CU Theater, and perform at local nightclubs, sports bars, corporate events, and private parties. When you hire me as your DJ, you get a seasoned pro with four decades of expertise playing popular music videos for most music genres for people from all walks of life, and I provide the best state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment for any event I'm contracted to perform.
