Hello All, my name is Daniel Damien Wierl, I opened "Old Soul Cinema" while living in Albuquerque NM after graduating from film school with a degree in Video Production. Now looking to bring my experience and knowledge to the Virginia Beach area! While in NM I became one of the top videographers at Los Alamos National Laboratory while finishing film school and mastering the craft of film making. After 4 years in Los Alamos, I was hired to work for Panavision, where I gained the priceless knowledge of making movies while using the undeniably famous Panavision camera and lenses. I have up to date understanding and hands on training with all new camera equipment and cinematography techniques. I have worked on sets large and small, I love doing personal wedding videos, music videos, narrative films and other projects that come my way. I have experience and technical knowledge with the following list of video equipment: Arri Alexa Mini and Large Format Cameras, DXL2, various types of RED cameras, Panaflex Film Camera, Bolex 16mm Film Camera, Aaton Film Camera, Viceroy Super 8mm Camera, Sony FS7 and FS5 digital cameras, Sony F55, Canon C100 and C300, Canon Rebel Series Cameras, Blackmagic Pocket Cameras (4k and 6k), Lumix GH5 Camera. I have a wide knowledge of lenses from Primes to Large Zooms to Anamorphics. I look to create a unique product with every job and give my clients something that exceeds all expectations.
