Jungle International Band Led by ADICHIE is a World Music Dance Band based in New York playing Original Music composed by the Leader ADICHIE. The band consists of professional musicians, singers and dancers from many parts of the World and the music we play is very simple, catchy yet sophisticated. It's a blend of Afro Beat, High Life, Soukous, R&B, Jazz and more. We have performed in many venues like the Paradise Garage, Tunnel, Dancetaria, Tramps, Pulse, Club Negril, B.A.M. café, Lion's Den, Sugar Bar, Marcus Garvey Park ,Floyd Bennett Park, Flushing Town Hall, Yonkers River Front to name a few. The band members came from different places like Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Mali, US,Europe, Carribbean Countries and much more. It is a pure mix of Anglophones, Francophones, Ameriphones and Afriphones. The music that comes out is a complexity of this sophistications. Hence the leader ADICHIE (Papa Jungle / The Emperor) calls the groove Jungle International as New York itself is a ConcreteJungle.
