Jill Martini and the Shrunken Heads World Music Band from Ventura, CA

We bring the fantasy of a Polynesian tiki bar to your door. We play a wide variety of music. From smokin' hot tiki exotica (think Arthur Lyman), mid-century lounge (think 1920s to 1950's Hollywood-Hawaii) to traditional and modern sounds from the Hawaiian islands. Jill can sing beautifully in the Hawaiian language! We are flexible to suit your event. We can provide an acoustic ukulele sound for small affairs or we can bring the Polynesian luau show with tiki torches blazing for a wild musical ride for your guests. We can play old favorites (think jazz standards) and modern Hawaiian favorites (think Somewhere Over the Rainbow recorded by Iz) with Hawaiian steel guitar, ukuleles, and an upright bass. We do not have drums in the group so our volume is never a problem with venues.
