Doug Jones:
In this case, the park rangers were told the wrong place to go to play for the event. Being a large park, we could not find it. We were repeatedly told to go to Oak Meadow. Having gone to the area as told by the rangers, we found another group that had the same company initials! So through a coincidence, we played before the wrong crowd. The phone numbers provided by the client were office numbers - not cell phones. Next time I have a gig of a similar nature, I will be sure we have a working cell phone number for the client, and arrange to meet at the park ranger's kiosk.This was the most disappointing gig ever.Booked Events
