The Keene Singers is a vocal ensemble that can be customized to the size and style of singing group that you want. Typically we perform with a minimum of 4 people, and we can be a choir as large as 20 people or larger. We can and have performed at weddings, corporate events, marriage proposals, funerals, parties, school assemblies, and themed events. We are fully insured and can provide a sound system to amplify ourselves if needed, too! Here are brief descriptions of several of our most popular acts: The Other Reindeer Carolers are professional holiday entertainers in beautiful Dickensian costumes who not only sing, but also interact with and delight audiences of all ages. We perform in quartets of two men and two women, singing from our extensive repertoire of familiar tunes, both traditional and contemporary, in beautiful four-part harmony. We have a lot of fun while performing, and several of our arrangements have a jazz, pop, or rock feel; we even employ vocal percussion on a few songs. Our repertoire is extremely diverse, and includes non-religious and Hanukkah songs as well as traditional classic Christmas carols; we are happy to customize what we sing to suit your occasion. We have sung on Jimmy Kimmel Live! twice and have been featured in two Lifetime movies. The Scarolers® are a novelty performance ensemble who sing Halloween and "scarified" Christmas Carols ("Ghoultide Scarols") in terrifyingly good four-part harmony. Our act is a little spooky and a little campy and is fun for the whole family. Our repertoire also contains plenty of fun and recognizable pop songs associated with Halloween, like The Monster Mash, Thriller, Ghostbusters, and several songs from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The Scarolers have performed at dozens of Halloween events across the country, including LIttle Island in Manhattan (NY), Brighton Colorado’s Historic Town Hall, the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival, Culver City's Hip & Historic Halloween, Soboba Casino, and even a cameo at the Hollywood Bowl! The Peppermints are an all-female, 4-voice group that specializes in contemporary winter and holiday tunes, including Hanukkah songs. Their sound evokes groups like The Andrew Sisters and the Pointer Sisters. You can view their video demos and repertoire list on their website, www.peppermintsingers.com. The Peppermints typically wear red-and-white "peppermint-striped" blouses and with red and white accessories. Several of their arrangements have a jazz, pop, or rock feel; they even employ vocal percussion on a few songs. And if none of the above acts fits what you are seeking, please let us know!
