I am a retired architect, now a full time musician, playing & teaching accordion. I am also the President of the LA Accordion Club with a history of playing in Italian & French restaurants and various events such as weddings, anniversaries, corporate receptions and private parties. What I most enjoy, is providing background music to events such a private parties or corporate receptions and restaurants. I pride myself in a professional approach ( being timely & appropriately dressed for the event ) and creating a European cafe vibe with my repertoire of songs which includes a variety of Italian, French, Latin and American songbook pop/jazz standards. It is important that guests are able to chat or dine and not be overpowered by music, and therefore I primarily rely on the acoustic instrumentation or minimal amplification, depending on the venue of course. If you are interested in my services, I would appreciate a 30 day advanced notice in order to ensure availability and adequate preparation, especially if special requests are desirable. The fee I quoted is minimum and considers preparation, travel, venue accommodations, etc. However, I should clarify that the fee is negotiable! I also play in various bands.
