Bethwhitney Acoustic Band from Leavenworth, WA

Long before Beth Whitney wrote her first song, she was being shaped to craft music. Born to a poet and a painter, and raised with her five siblings on a small farm north of Seattle, she was given verse and depiction as companions throughout her childhood. Beth, an award-winning songwriter, writes simple songs about complex things: faith, suffering, hope, and love. Using her indelible charm and sweetly clever wit, phrases turn, and emotions connect. Beth combines the storytelling of folk music and a delightful bit of pop to not only captivate you during a performance, but to send you home with an anthem that will inspire and buoy you. Often performing as a duo, husband/collaborator Aaron Fishburn, compliments the melodic gems with steady rhythms and rich bows on the upright bass.
