Bow N' Banjo Cellist from Atlanta, GA

We are a Cello + Banjo/Guitar instrumental duo. Bow N' Banjo plays many different styles including Popular, Bluegrass, Classical and Original Acoustic Music. Our setlist contains artists as diverse as Bill Monroe, The Beatles, John Denver, Bach and George Gershwin. The two things we are hired to play the most are refined Appalachian String Music and popular music like the Great American Songbook. As multi-instrumentalists, we can switch off between the Cello/Mandolin and the Banjo/Guitar depending on the needs and mood you have in mind. If needed, we provide our own sound system. Bio: Erica Ransbottom (cello/mandolin)-Erica has had the honor to work with artists such as Rod Stewart, Josh Groban, Disturbed, Trans Siberian Orchestra and Trampled by Turtles. She holds a degree in Cello Performance from Georgia State University. Jody Hughes (banjo/guitar)-The highlights of Jody's career include performing onstage at Carnegie Hall, The Grand Ole Opry and The Ryman Auditorium. He has played for artists such as Jim Lauderdale and Randy Kohrs.
