Hearth Hearted Acoustic Band from Raleigh, NC

A harmony-intensive, eclectic yet practical pair, Hearth-Hearted started when two singers, Jesse and Joules, met while making up songs around the bonfire at a party, and formed a band two weeks later. Jesse is the former frontman of The Ameros, who won the critics' pick for Album of the Year from the Daily Gazette in 2011 for "Backs Against the Wall". Joules is a classically-trained alto who has been cast as an evil queen in over half the musicals she's been in. She tries not to act like it. Hearth-Hearted's first gig, opening for Dead-Lift in Albany, took place in January 2020, one month after forming the band. They remained active at open mics and restaurant gigs, at one point appearing as a musical cameo in the Sean Cranston movie "Redville". Their first song together, "Hope", was released in August 2020, shortly after Joules survived an attempt on her life and figured she might as well make something pretty out of the experience. The couple moved down the Raleigh, NC several months later, and have gotten back into writing songs and attending open mics in a new city!
