JOHN & KANDI Duo Acoustic Band from Winston Salem, NC

The JOHN & KANDI Duo brings feel-good, crowd-friendly music to events across Winston-Salem and the surrounding area. After relocating from Texas to North Carolina, they’ve been winning over audiences with a sound that’s warm, fun, and full of great vocals. John handles guitar and lead vocals, while Kandi adds her own lead vocals plus tight harmonies that make every song sound special. They’re a great fit for anyone looking for a Cover Band, Oldies Band, Classic Rock Band, Americana Band, Acoustic Band, or Folk Band. Their set is packed with sing-along favorites spanning the 60s and 70s, with plenty of throwbacks from the 40s and 50s too—think Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga, Patsy Cline, Elvis, and Chris Stapleton, plus many more. Whether your crowd loves smooth classics or upbeat favorites, they’ll keep the energy right where you want it. The duo stays busy performing at corporate events, wineries, breweries, senior living communities, private parties, and community fairs and festivals. They also do wedding ceremony music and can adapt to a smaller or larger space—plus they bring their own sound equipment (or can use yours if that’s your preference). Want something specific? They can learn select requests, or you can choose from their extensive song list. A recent client shared, “Thank you both for sharing your beautiful talents with our group! We have received several compliments from our guests about your song selection and performance. They all agree it was a WONDERFUL addition to this year’s event.” JOHN & KANDI are easy to work with and reliable, and they’re available for one hour, three hours, or just about any timing in between. They cover Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and beyond—generally within 100 miles of Lewisville, NC.
