Foscoe Philharmonic String Duo Acoustic Duo from Raleigh, NC

We are the Foscoe Philharmonic String Duo, classically trained musicians who studied at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. After earning principal positions in their university orchestra, we performed with the Raleigh, Durham, Western Piedmont, Fayetteville, and Salisbury Symphony Orchestras in North Carolina and the Florence and Charleston Symphony orchestras in South Carolina. Based in Raleigh, NC, we will perform in a radius of up to 250 miles. Our pricing may vary depending on your location. Our elegantly played repertoire includes genres from classical to pop. We play from the standard set and can also stroll. Strolling provides additional entertainment and a personal connection with guests. Our amplification (using wireless mics) allows us to move freely, providing a pleasing sound to any size gathering. We have over 40 years of experience (over a hundred weddings)and are on the preferred vendors listing for The Castle venue in High Point, NC as well as The Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC. We will make your special occasion (weddings, dinner parties, banquets) a memorable one. Contact us if you have further questions. Client Testimonials (as seen on WeddingWire) 1. I’m a first time bride at 59 and had always wanted a string trio (if I ever got married). Greg and his fellow musicians made my dream come true on Dec. 7th, 2020! I only wish more people could have been there to hear this talented trio! (It was a private ceremony). They were a pleasure to work with and played exactly (with no rehearsal with us) what I wanted. A last minute request to play the first verse of a song was done beautifully. My heartfelt thanks for making my long awaited day so very special! - Sandy 5 stars 2. Greg and his team at Foscoe Philharmonic are always a joy to work with. Their ensembles and overall presentation are always so beautiful and elegant. We have worked with them countless times at The Oaks at Salem and they never disappoint. Having live musicians for your wedding truly takes the event to the next level for you and your guests. There is no comparison! Highly recommend their services! - Aubriana 5 stars 3. These guys were great. A couple weeks before the wedding, one of them came to our venue (my mother-in-law's home) and talked to us about what kind of music we wanted for the ceremony and cocktail hour and went through the day. They were very patient with me (someone who is not very musically inclined). We have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so! All trained musicians and music educators! - Mallory 5 stars
