Tom and Patti were absolutely incredible not only do they make the most beautiful music that created such a magical ambiance for our big day, but their professionalism and friendly demeanor made it so so easy to work with Shady Rill. They are great communicators and made tech needs clear as well as did an amazing job learning songs of our choice and providing creative input.
10/10 if you need a folk duo for your event, look no further!

Tom & Patti were so easy to work with and extremely accommodating in learning a new song for our wedding ceremony! Both of them are extremely talented and made our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour extra special. We highly recommend them not only for their talent and how accommodating they were but also because they're genuinely nice people who care about enhancing your event.

Shady Rill was everything I hoped for and more. The duo played 4 songs at a Celebration of Life for my brother and sister-in-law. 3 songs played indoors and 1 outside, up a long walk. They were accommodating, easy to work with, professional, timely, warm, and friendly. Their voices and playing of instruments were perfect for the event. They even learned a new song - which was perfect! Shady Rill were genuinely delighted and honored to play at our event, an attitude and approach that helped make for a perfect day. Many things came together on day of event to make it special and bring about much needed healing, including Shady Rill. Thank you, always!

Patti and Tom sang two songs during my daughters life celebration. They learned a song for us and we were thrilled with the performance. Our daughter would have loved their performance as well. I’d highly recommend them for any event, they are true pros.

We can not speak highly enough of Tom and Patti. Besides being such talented musicians, they were, quite literally, the nicest people. They were a joy to have included in our event. And they were so accommodating...and created the exact atmosphere we had asked for. They understood the gathering we were having, and the venue, and the tone of what we going after. And they created exactly what we asked for. They were wonderful!

Dave and I would like to recommend this couple for any event that is a casual setting. They were flexible and seemed to adjust their performance to the tempo of the event. They were not intrusive and played our wedding song beautifully. The wedding was casual and a gathering of friends and family who want to converse and interact more than dancing. Tom and Patti played their beautiful music in the background. It was lovely.
