They may be generations apart in years, but their kindred spirits and mutual passion for creating music has brought them together for a unique blend of vintage and new, classic and progressive. Kelly Clements and Jeff Ogle first met while working together on “The Country Top 40,” the weekly country countdown featuring the legendary Bob Kingsley. Though both of them were used to playing solo gigs, often they would talk about the possibility of someday combining their talents to make music together, and now that day has come. When it comes to combining their talents, Kelly and Jeff are a true duo. They enjoy blending their voices with the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and the Everly Brothers, and put their own spin on a wide range of tunes ranging from The Beatles, to Patsy Cline, to Norah Jones. Spanning multiple generations of talents, styles and influences, they bring it all together and offer something unique… Two Far Gone.
