James came to play for my parents 25th Wedding Anniversary Party. James kept the party engaged, singing and dancing. He played songs by request from his list of over 200! He even learned how to play my parents wedding song. It was a very special night and we are so appreciative of having James there to play. Highly recommend. Accommodating, professional, amazing vocals, well versed in so many songs! Book with him for you next event. We will definitely be using his for future events.

James was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. He was early to set-up, not just on time, which is important when planning an event in order to eliminate stressors. James was set up perfectly when the first guest arrived. Not only did his expertise in music selection complement the event perfectly, but his talent was unmatched! I felt nothing but rewarded, after hiring James for my event. I received many complements and positive remarks about his talent, the music, & overall enjoyment! James made the party a great accomplishment! Aside from being down-right AWESOME, the event had a surprise moment & James navigated the necessary entertainment to keep the fun going! This was our second time booking James for an important professional event- he is FANTASTIC! He was very quick to respond to our fairly last minute inquiry for entertainment. He arrived early, did his whole set up quickly, was super friendly and professional AND was willing to play in an outdoor space- an accommodation a lot of local entertainers are not willing to make! His performance was a HUGE HIT with our crowd- awesome set list, fantastic voice, charismatic, the list of positives goes on and on! Will definitely book again and absolutely recommend.

James did an excellent job for the beach wedding. He showed up early, was dressed very professionally despite the humid weather, and accommodated every request. We requested he play acoustic music as a walking troubadour for the processional and recessional for the ceremony. Though it was not asked of him, he continued to strum during the whole photo shoot afterwards. His calm and generous spirit and guitar playing was ever present but serenading from the background, and it suited us perfectly. High commendation, hire this man for your wedding gig.

Let me first say, I'm a professional musician in the Chicago area, so I know what it takes to prepare for and then perform in front of an audience. James did a spectacular job performing at my 50th birthday party on the beach in Englewood. He was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to my questions prior to the event date. I even asked him if he could learn a few songs by artists that he was unfamiliar with and he went the extra mile to learn them for my birthday. The guests all enjoyed his performance and his friendly demeanor. He gave 100% and was super flexible in the midst of some weather challenges! We highly recommend James.
