James Ward is a full time professional performer as a vocalist and acoustic/electric guitarist. He can be hired to play solo or as the lead singer with a band. His Band, The Danger Gang, include: drummer Manny Danger, keyboardist Nick Healy, and Bassist Chad/Nick Bierman. James Ward considers himself: The Son of the Drum because the guitar is actually a percussive instrument originating in Africa. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee; James' started playing guitar in school and church/theatre musical productions. Performance has always been a part of his life. He has been greatly influenced by Roots Music including American Folk, Jazz, Blues, and even Rock n Roll. There is no song nor style which he/the band would not perform, but he concentrates in Blues, Soul, Rock n Roll, and Country Western. The Band's sound can cross the decades from the 50's to the present day in all genres. Any and all requests will be accomodated to the best of the performers abilities. He performs for weddings, corporate events, press events, private parties, funerals, and festivals.
