Jody Hughes is a super talented guitarist. I reviewed his sample videos, but the live performance was trully all we wanted and more. He reahced out to us and asked if we had any special requests as far as genre' or specific songs. He added everything we asked for into his repetoire' for our event. We got so many compliments from our guests. We will definitley use Jody Again for any events we may have and strongly recommend him for yours!

We hired Jody to play guitar while our guests arrived at our wedding, to play the music during our wedding ceremony, and then to play background music during our cocktail hour. Though we did not get to personally meet Jody, I spoke with him on the phone and emailed with him back and forth. He was very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process. He was able to accommodate our song requests and played beautifully. We got numerous compliments about his playing and would recommend him for other similar situations!

We contracted Jody to be our ceremony musician. Jody was super easy to work with leading up to our wedding day. Because of all of the craziness of the actual day, we didn't get to meet Jody in person but our coordinator told us later that he was super professional and great to work with. Jody ability as a musician is great and the he played all of the songs we requested beautifully. We definitely recommend Jody to anyone that wants a very talented guitarist for their wedding.

Jody was so accommodating. Trade show attendees aren’t the easiest crowd, yet they were drawn to his magnetic bajo, loved his selections and were in awe of history and experience. All who are reading this? Hire him!

Jody was so kind and talented. He quickly (and professionally) answered all of our questions throughout the process of choosing songs for our wedding. On our wedding day, he showed up early prepared with his equipment, and played our requests to perfection! He had a great list of tunes for our cocktail hour as well.. It is scary to choose someone for that responsibility, and I am so glad he played our music as we walked down the aisle! Would recommend him to anyone.

Jody did a wonderful job at our spring celebration. If you have an event, we would recommend him! Listen to his sample music and that is definitely the level at which you receive. Some were surprised that he could play for 5 hours with only small breaks. The crowd was engaged in the music and enjoyed the day.

We hired Jody Hughes and Erica, the cellist featured on many of Jody's videos and demos, for a private dinner party at Cheekwood Museum and Botanical Gardens in Nashville. They were beyond phenomenal and incredible to work with. The group was comprised of seasoned travelers and many who have met or attended intimate performances from some of the best known artists of our time - and they could not get enough of this duo! From the soulful and artistic banjo/cello duets to up on your feet bluegrass tunes and acoustic guitar solos so skillfully and beautifully played by Jody, we were all captivated and have not stopped talking about them!
