About
We are an Acoustic Rock act (2-piece or 3-piece) that has played hundreds of shows in our area (Eastern, Iowa) to Chicago, IL, as well as a multi-state and city tour from chicago to Los Angeles, CA in March of 2010. We have just finished up recording our first Major E.P. @ Killingsworth Recording Company Studios in Hollywood, CA on March 23rd. which is available to listen to on this site and on over a dozen other networking, social, and music exposure sites we are members of. The E.P. is also being played on approximately 200+ radio stations in the USA and Canada, and our fan base is growing every day.

The show consists of myself (Corey Booth) doing all lead vocals and rythm guitar, and harmonica, and Ned McGinn playing percussion on his acoustic drum kit, consisting of 2 congas, bongos, djembe, cymbals, toms, and other percussion instruments. We also have a lead guitar player/back-up vocalist available for performances as well. Our setlist includes about 5-10 originals, and a great variety of covers that are done with taste and accuracy. Our show has been well-received no matter where we play or who we play for, whether its 16 year old kids or 96 year old men and women or everyone inbetween, there is something for everyone, and everyone appreciates and enjoys what we do. We can cover up to 4 hours if needed.

Some of the artists we cover include everything from Johnny Cash, Jim Croce, Rod Stewart, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, CCR, to Pearl Jam, Cold Play, OAR, The Lumineers, Alice in Chains, Oasis, Sublime, Nirvana, Green Day, and many more.

The Corey Booth Project is the perfect fit for any venue or audience, whether its a coffee shop, book store, or large downtown Chicago venue, or wedding reception, or party; we play music that can entertain almost anyone, almost anywhere.

What a nice group of guys! Very talented and fun to listen to. I won't be surprised to see that this group begins to regularly play larger venues and stages. Felt lucky to have them appear at our town's celebration. In a word...Awesome!

The Corey Booth Project’s Response:

It was a pleasure and priveledge for us to play for Alden Days. Greg could not have been more helpful and easy to work with overall. Greg was very accomadating, professional, and considerate with us and we felt very lucky to be able to work with him and to perform at Alden's town celebration. I have performed at hundreds of venues and events, and it is always refreshing and gratifying to work with and perform for professionals like Greg and the folks at Alden Days.
