Ed Krider Acoustic Guitarist from Fort Lauderdale, FL

With a style and appeal as diverse as his New York City roots, Ed Krider was born in Brooklyn and became involved in music at an early age. Ed played guitar and sang with local bands in both New York and South Florida throughout the seventies, eighties and nineties, refining his skills as a performer. As the times changed he evolved into an acoustic musician, playing guitar, harmonica and singing at the many venues in the Fort Lauderdale/South Florida area. Ed traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark in the summer of 1999 to play at a variety of venues. At that time most of the "troubadours" were using drum and bass tracks to enhance their presence in the larger clubs. Ed was introduced to the process and upon his return to the U.S. began booking himself as a one man band, playing at corporate events, retirement/assisted living facilities, restaurants and clubs. With an easy going style and laid back demeanor Ed communicates well with audiences of all ages, large and small. With an extensive and varied repertoire amassed through years of performing, Ed can provide everything from ambient music at cocktail parties to entertainment for large gatherings and lively corporate events.
