Mike Kornrich plays guitar, banjo, ukulele and sings. Swing, Rock, Dixieland, Country & Jazz. Mike Kornrich has been performing for adults and children of all ages for about 40 years. He started when he was 13 in a band playing the early Beatles and other 60's music. Early in life he studied trumpet and then with the introduction of Elvis Presley he switched to guitar and banjo. Mike moved to New York City in 1978 and gained valuable experience performing there for 6 years. Back in Rochester N.Y. he has been playing solo and gets his band together for special functions. You can see him around town at the Strong Museum, Lilac Festival, Seneca Park Zoo, Libraries, Country Clubs, Senior centers, Day Cares and many festivals and night clubs. Mike has also appeared with the 50's rockers Danny and the Juniors. He was guitarist in the Ultimate Doo-wop show in Rochester, NY in 2008. At his shows you may hear, "Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens", “Rock Around The Clock”, “All Of Me”, “Blue Suede Shoes”, “Mind Your Own Business”, “King Of The Road”, "Route 66" ""U.S. Blues" and many other favorites.
