Sam MADE our wedding! From the serious moments of the ceremony to reading the crowd, playing music that created the party atmosphere we could only have hoped for(including letting one of our friends accompany him in a few songs), Sam delivered and then some. He even went above and beyond by providing us recordings of the "toasts"! Highly highly recommend him for any event...he's depth and breadth is extremely impressive. He truly is that awesome.

Sam was amazing! He played exactly what we asked for! I basically wrote the set list and he even wore a shirt that I brought for him,so he matched our wedding party! He was so easy to work with(weddings are a lot of work) he set up, starting when I gave him the thumbs up, and we had an amazing wedding! I can’t thank Sam enough! He rocked! We will definitely go see Sam play again whenever he’s in California! Anyone getting married and wants a live musician check out Sam! When I asked what kinda stuff he could do solo, he sent me a list of 800+ songs! He even learned a couple special songs we wanted him to play! He did! Thanks again Sam The Flask’s

Sam was just great! He arrived early and was all set by the time we arrived... he played exactly the kind of music we were looking for, and was so accommodating to let us use his mike and to pause for the blessing, toasts, etc. He even let me know when the restaurant announced an upcoming remodel so I could doublecheck any potential conflicts! He got right back to me with recordings of the toasts as well. I would highly recommend him!

Sam is crazy talented and a true professional! He played our wedding ceremony and reception for about 50 people. His quote was thorough so we knew exactly what to expect and he could not have been more accommodating. We even had an alternate song choice of "I love a rainy night" that Sam learned for the recessional if it was raining...which it was. There was an eruption of laughter when Sam started playing it that started the reception out on such a great tone...and Sam kept the great vibes going throughout. He has such a wide repertoire and interacts so well with the audience; he took requests a large part of the evening. He made our wedding truly special.

Sam did an excellent job for us and was prompt, courteous, and professional. He was also very flexible as we had to relocate him several times because of the weather; something he took in stride without complaint or hesitation. Our only music request was for Pachelbel's Cannon during the bridal procession and Sam played a beautiful rendition of this. He took requests from the guests during the reception and I heard excellent comments from this as well. Overall, our expectations were fulfilled and I would recommend Sam Pointer highly. I would hire him in the future without hesitation.

Our law firm wanted Sam to play soft classical guitar as background music for a reception, and that's just what he did - in fact we've had him back several times since. He was wonderful! Reliable, punctual and flexible. I highly recommend him!

Sam was amazing! He responded to our request immediately and got back to us quickly with a quote for our wedding. He not only sang and played at our reception but played instrumental acoustic guitar for our beach wedding ceremony as well. He learned songs that we requested and played/sang them beautifully. However, I must mention that there are not too many songs that he doesn't already know! He was extremely professional and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed listening to him. I would highly recommend him for your event! He was great to work with :)

I had another musician cancel on me a week before the wedding. I emailed sam and he got in touch with me within 30 minutes! He was a major stress relief for me. He is an excellent guitarist and singer. He learned a couple songs for me and played them perfectly. He did classical pieces for my ceremony and it sounded great! During the reception he did a wonderful job keeping people entertained and dancing! I would definitely recommend him!

Sam is an amazing guitarist and is very experienced playing at weddings! I feel he really helped create an intimate wedding atmosphere at our ceremony. He even took the time to record himself playing my favorite song from our wedding ceremony so I could enjoy it later. How thoughtful!

Sam was great! We gave him a list of some of our favorite artists for the event and he sang some of our favorite songs. He's a great guitar player and singer and several of our guests told us how much they liked him. He arrived early and played exactly the right amount of time. Sam gave an exceptional performance at my daughter's wedding brunch! He helped create a lighthearted, personal atmosphere that helped us all to relax and just enjoy being together. He has such a broad repertoire of songs -- both vocal and instrumental - there was literally something for everyone. He also learned a special song at the bride and groom's request, which completely delighted them. I cannot say enough good about Sam and his work. If you want a professional yet personal event, I highly recommend that you have Sam help you.
