ZION ROAD Reggae Band from Port Arthur, TX

Que Buya Records presents “ZION ROAD” After about a 15 year trajectory with the renowned band “Zona 7 (a well known Christian Spanish rock band in Latin America and the United States), two of it's founding members Ramon “Moncho” Canizales (Guitar) and Tommy DiCesare (Vocals/keys) have decided to embark on a new musical adventure name “ZION ROAD”. Ramon Canizales (born in El Salvador and raised in the US) and Tommy DiCesare (born in the United States and of Argentine descent) have been making music together since 1996 and formed the band Zona 7 in early 1998. “We've been doing this for a while now and we finally decided to just stop talking about it and do it!” says Ramon…Logically we are very fluent in the English language and it's been an easy transition, because Tommy can flow in English very naturally”. “We are are now promoting our new single “One Love” says frontman Tommy. They are currently in the studio working on the full length album, wich some of the tracks will be songs that they've translated from Spanish to English. “We were kind of pushed into it” says Tommy. “So many of our friends and fans were constantly asking us to do stuff in English so we took songs that we had written and began to do them in English and it's worked out pretty well.” “It's pretty crazy how it started with an invitation to play and the promoter was wanting us to play some English stuff and we were forced to do it really not expecting the outcome it had.” said Ramon. Quebuya Records has taken the initiative to promote the bands first EP, self titled “Zion Road” wich has 6 tracks, “One Love” used as the bands single release. The EP is now available on ITunes and Amazon. The Band is also working on their first Music video “One Love” .
