Simply put, the main goal I always have with my music is to reflect the nature of life. This can be done through interpretation of the great musical stories throughout time (covers of songs), or through telling a story of my own. I like to do a little bit of both when I play, and I make sure that anyone around me listening can find happiness through the music. For fourteen years I have studied classical and jazz piano and from it have developed a beautiful style of piano playing. My style of solo piano specializes in a mix of classical, jazz, and pop. Innovative covers of popular songs with a nice blend of tones in original pieces. My music creates a relaxing and peaceful environment for those listening. As I am a solo pianist my music is best for private formal events such as weddings, retirement parties, receptions, and award ceremonies. My music is also fitting to public spaces such as shopping malls, bars, and restaurants. When I play my aim is to give clients a feeling of joy, serenity, and reflection. My life in music got started in New York City and it continues to thrive there now. I have performed at bars and restaurants in the Westchester area with a few private events as well. I have also performed abroad in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa as a solo musician, accompanist, and as a member of a reggae group. I record a lot of music independently some of which you may hear on my profile. In addition to performances and recordings I provide film scores for independent films in the NYC area. I also teach music and audio recording to high school students. Currently I am studying jazz with Mike Longo, a jazz pianist who played with Dizzy Gillespie and many other jazz legends.
