Quail Valley Farm- Interactive Petting Zoo Animal For A Party from Parkersburg, IA

We are an interactive petting zoo for children of all ages. We are available to set up at fairs, school and church events in Iowa and adjacent states. Unlike ordinary zoos we allow you to interact with the animals we display. In 2009 we began a new venture of having parties on the farm - where you can host birthday parties, church groups, scouts, and other group events at our farm. We specialize in farm and small exotic animals. WHAT DO WE INCLUDE IN OUR PETTING ZOO? At the present time we have a miniature horse, our Great Pyrenees dog, llamas, potbellied pigs, exotic sheep and goats, rabbits, peacocks, geese, turkeys, exotic pheasants, chickens, ducks and cats. Not all animals go to all exhibits but you can specify which you would like to have. In the spring and early summer we have lambs, kids, baby poultry and around the first of July baby Fallow deer. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW! The usual season for petting zoos away from home is mid=March to mid-October but we will travel any time of year if conditions are right. We do indoor zoos, use tarps, and clean up when the event is done. We are USDA licensed, and provide a health certificate. The pens are kept clean and hand sanitizers are available.
