With over 120 years of combined professional entertainment experience, Shimmer consist of seven core musicians who sing and play a variety of instruments. Two outstanding lead vocalists accompany these talented musicians. This world class band, made up of Atlanta's best musical talent, have shared the stage with such major artists as Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Boyz-II-Men, Cindy Wilson of The B-52's, The Pointer Sisters, Olivia Newton-John, Aaron Neville, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Cher and Diana Ross just to name a few. This dynamic powerhouse has recently completed three international tours of 5 continents entertaining our active duty personnel world wide through Armed Forces Entertainment. Shimmer plays the very best dance and party music spanning the big band and jazz standards of the 1940's right thru 2006's top hits! Shimmer does it all with energy and enthusiasm. The band's tight rhythm section is punctuated by the hottest horn section in the south and topped off with exceptional lead vocals and rich harmonies.
