Historically, our organization has never hired a professional auctioneer to emcee and manage our live auction. However, we decided to make the investment this year—and it paid off tremendously. We were able to bring our numbers back to where they had been in previous years! Justin brought fresh, thoughtful ideas that complemented our traditional program format. While we were open to trying new things, it was equally important to stay true to the structure our guests have come to expect, and Justin struck that balance perfectly. He was engaging, dynamic, and read the room exceptionally well—never coming across as pushy, which can be a concern at fundraising events.

Mike was the best MC and Auctioneer we have had in our decades long history. He was professional, personable, engaging whipped up several awesome bidding wars. Our group could not asked for a better performance. Thank you Mike and Justin.

This was our first auction, and we were so pleased with the amazing assistance Justin and his staff gave us! They shared so much useful information that they have gleaned from their many years of doing auctions to help make our first event a success! They were also very responsive in our communications with them as they spent multiple hours explaining and teaching us about the ins and outs of auction and event planning. I believe Justin went above and beyond in his capacity of 'Auctioneer' as he jumped into our event project with us. Thank-you, Justin.

Justin James connected with the crowd, was able to read body language, and was an effective and fun communicator. He used humor and was charismatic, drawing in members of the audience with fun games that engaged everyone. He is a seasoned auctioneer who makes it look effortless and he is confident on the microphone and good with technology. Also, he was instrumental in ensuring the event details were going as planned and kept in strong communication at all stages - the planning, prep, set up, take down and debrief. We look forward to having him back for our Gala again! A++

Justin was wonderful to work with and our live auction was very entertaining and dynamic thanks to him. We were also able to reach our goal during the fund the need portion of the event with his help. We look forward to teaming up again.

Justin and Katie, who helps manage marketing and operations behind the scenes for him, took great care of us both before and during our event. They knew we were adding a live auction and paddle raise to our annual gala for the first time, and gave us great advice about our in-event fundraising options. I'm thrilled to say that Justin helped us exceed our goals for the evening!

Hiring Justin James was a serious mistake. He ignored our script, made offensive comments, mispronounced sponsor names, and derailed the flow of our program. His behavior was rude, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate for a nonprofit setting. Multiple guests were upset, and the event ended with him being removed from the venue after a confrontation. He caused harm to our organization’s most important night of the year. Strongly advise against hiring him.
