Whether your event requires the penetrating skirl of the Highland pipes or the quieter, more pub-friendly decibels of the smallpipes, you can be sure to have the right instrument and tune selection for your event. As a member of two local pipe bands - serving as a pipe sergeant and competitive piper - I have over 16 years of experience playing at pubs, weddings, funerals, commemorations, and a surprising variety of other events. I became familiar with bagpipes through bagpipe maker Charlie Kron of C.E. Kron and Co, where I worked as a machinist during high school - shaping the instruments I would later learn to play. A few years later I joined the Iona College Pipe Band, regularly playing in local parades - including the notable St. Patrick's Day Parade in NYC. From there I struck off solo, but got back into band life several years ago.
