Brian C. Hutchison Celtic Bagpiper from Woodstock, ON

If you are looking for a piper who plays with passion, pride and for sheer love of the instrument, then Brian is your man. Most of his bookings come word of mouth, passed from one very satisfied client to another (the greatest compliment a musician can receive). Brian has proudly followed in the footsteps of many Hutchison's before him. He decided (at the age of 15) to carry on the family tradition of becoming a Scottish Highland Bagpiper. Today he plays his Great-Uncle Bob Hutchison's, 1926 Henderson Bagpipes, these bagpipes have an absolutely amazing and second to none, tonal quality. Over the years, Brian's piping career has taken him to many interesting places and events, most significantly to Holland, for the 45th and 50th Anniversaries of Liberation in 1990 and 1995, respectively. Once he was even asked to play at a teacher's strike, and found his picture in the newspaper under the caption: The Picketing Piper. Brian has played at many functions, always receiving excellent feed-back and reviews from satisfied clients. Today he pipes for special occasions, performing at; weddings, parties, graduations, retirements and celebrations of all kinds.
