Better suited for indoor occasions The Uilleann pipes are a form of bagpipe native Ireland used in traditional Irish dance music Dan McHugh is a fine Uilleann piper and Whistle player. He was first taught by Bil McKenty of Philadelphia. He later organized a series of learning sessions for pipers at the Philadelphia Irish center under the instruction of Jerry O'Sullivan. Influences include classic pipers such as Willie Clancy and Seamus Ennis. Two-time performer at the annual Philadelphia Ceili group Festival. Available for weddings, funerals, and other gatherings I can also provide duet performances with guitar, fiddle or harp!
