Professional bagpiper with eleven years experience. Performed in hundreds of different events and venues over the years as soloist or with members of a group, can offer multiple pipers or an entire band if needed. Our particular group has a professional/formal persona as well as a great "party atmosphere" aspect as well. Also have contact with Scottish dancers. Longtime performer and competitor in the community of pipe bands, which gave Dark Isle Piper training in the more traditional and military traditions of piping, which in turn makes the Dark Isle Piper useful for formal and somber occasions as well as happier events.

Valerie Byrnes made our Wedding very special. I hired her as a surprise for all our guests. Everyone was in awe over her performance, including the Minister. Several people asked for her business card and want to hire her. I was soooooo happy when Valerie asked if I wanted her to lead us down the aisle. It made for such a Grand Entrance! She was also very helpful with the song choices. We loved it!
