Originally from Northern Ireland, Don has over five decades of experience (yes, I've been piping for over 50 years) in piping and teaching bagpipes. Since moving to America Don has imersed himself in the fulltime profession of bagpiping, playing at weddings, funerals, memorials and corporate and private events. Don is also the Pipe Major of The North Texas Caledonian Pipes and Drums.
He has performed for Queen Elizabeth and most of the British Royal Family, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Tony Blair, President George W. Bush and countless other digniteries and V.I.P.'s. Don has appeared on ABC-TV's Good Morning America with Diane Sawyer and Charlie Gibson. Don has appeared on numerous occasions with The Chieftains, Ireland's premier musical ambassadors, and will be touring with them in January, 2006.
