The Scottish Bagpipes have one of the most unique and emotionally moving sounds in the world of music. The sound of pipes helped soldiers go to battle and can also bring feelings of peace and delight to a wide range of listeners from all ages and backgrounds. Doug Reichlin discovered pipes fairly late in life and was inspired to master the instrument and spread the music to a wide audience. He came to the pipes from a classical music background focusing on baroque recorder and is an accomplished whistle player as well. Doug has delighted diverse audiences around the Front Range playing St. Patrick's Day celebrations in Denver and Boulder, the Rhythm on the River Festival in Longmont and will appear at the Vail Valley Music festival's Music on the Move in July 2013. He looks forward to helping make your event a special one.
