Highland Piper Bagpiper from Lebanon, PA

My name is David Weisman. I’ve been playing the Highland bagpipe for over 20 years. I play the bagpipe for weddings, funerals, private parties, and for other civic and military events. I’m a member of The Regimental Pipes & Drums, a World War II living history unit based in Elizabethtown, PA. The band portrays The Black Watch, a famous Scottish regiment which was a part of the 51st Highland Division. The band has performed at various re-enactments including the Reading Air Show in Reading, PA and Army Heritage Weekend at the U S Army War College in Carlisle, PA. In past years of my piping career, I’ve entered into solo piping competitions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Virginia. These competitions were included at Highland Games and festivals. My music repertoire includes marches, strathspeys, reels, jigs and slow airs which represent the great heritage and traditions of Scotland and Ireland.
