KIC Back Media Bagpiper from Mount Airy, MD

A respectful, uniformed bagpiper for funerals, memorials and graveside services across central Maryland, southern Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Also available for weddings, golf tournaments, church services, parties and corporate events. When you need a piper, you need someone who arrives early, dressed for the occasion, and plays with care. I'm Isaac, "The Dad Piper." I've been piping since 2012 and play with a Maryland police department pipe band. I served as a civilian police dispatcher and on the department's honor guard with the band, so I know what a service with honors means to everyone there. I live in Mt. Airy and travel throughout Maryland, southern Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Funerals, memorials and celebrations of life For funerals, I coordinate directly with your funeral director or clergy, so you have one less thing to manage. I play a large repertoire of tunes. If there's a tune that meant something to your loved one, I'm glad to learn it. Weddings I can pipe your guests in, play the processional and recessional, and add a short set during cocktail hour. Highland Cathedral and Scotland the Brave are favorites, and I'm happy to work in a special song. Golf tournaments I'll pipe golfers to the first tee for the shotgun start and play again for the awards. I can't fix your slice, but I can make the opening feel like a major championship. Church services, parties and corporate events Burns Night suppers, St. Andrew's and St. Patrick's Day celebrations, Kirkin' o' the Tartan services, retirements, grand openings and company gatherings. A piper makes an entrance nobody forgets. What you can expect • Arrival at least 30 minutes early to tune and confirm timing • The right dress for your event: formal Highland dress with a horsehair sporran and spats for police, military and formal services, or a day sporran and lighter attire for weddings, golf and parties • Clear communication before the event and a quick reply to every message • Ready for the weather: a rain cape for wet days, and a pop-up canopy when needed.
