Piper Jack went above and beyond for my fathers 70th birthday. My sister and I set up a surprise brunch and had hired Piper Jack to play. He was patient with our out of the box planning and ideas, the songs were fantastic, the energy he put in to his performance was palpable and he was a joy to be around in general.

Piper Jack was very enthusiastic and helped us think through and plan the event. He was very flexible and accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure that we were happy and worked well with the other musical performer--a harpist. We hired piper Jack for our wedding ceremony to pipe me (the Bride) in during the processional and it was truly amazing! He also piped the wedding party out during the recessional. He hung around for the photos and piped us into the reception. During the photos he went above and beyond to both play on the side for entertainment (drunken sailor for our kiddo!) and brought us water and gave me a plaid for warmth! He's excellent!!!!

I loved being part of your "special" day!! It was the first time in 45 years, that I had to wrap a bride in my "plaid" for warmth!!! (Honestly, I was a bit chilled in all the "wool" I was wearing.....I knew you had to be COLD in your beautiful wedding dress!!!! (Looking forward to seeing those photo's!!) :)

Jack did a terrific job piping my Dad 'home' at his burial ceremony. He communicated excellently with me prior to the event, arrived on time and was very professional at the service. I hired Jack for my nephew Pat and his new bride Olivia’s wedding, he was very professional and very talented.
The bride and groom were thrilled!
There were small toddlers ( the grooms nieces) at the wedding.
He played music specifically for the girls and they loved it.
I highly recommend Jack if you are planning an event.

Me and my family could not have been happier with piper jack. There was a misunderstanding with the time so he arrived to the church over an hour early, he took it upon himself to get directions to the funeral parlor and come and join us and play inside. Very pleased with his compassion to me and my family during this most difficult time for us and his performance was second to none. He also was very speedy with his response through the bash website. Jack was amazing, with the rain and a later ceremony he was totally flexible and did an incredible job! He plays a magnificent bagpipe! Felt like I was in Scotland walking up the hill following Peter to the ceremony as he played.

Here's a guy who can deliver the music -- PLUS. It's the PLUS part that often makes the difference, isn't it? He's there/ ready/ he's a team player/ he rolls with the flow/ he has ideas to offer/ he "plays well with others"/ the audience likes him/ he even grabbed a mop when somebody spilled something before we played -- that's impressive/ he wears his role well/ he is "present" in the moment -- not "somewhere else."
Is that enough? Hire him.

Jack is a wonderful person and an amazing piper! He was courteous and professional from start to finish. Jack reached out to my request promptly and with great time and effort expressed how much my request meant to him. I had asked for a piper to come to my moms house and surprise her for her birthday. Since covid, and her immune issues, she has been inside her home for a year now, wondering when the day was going to come where she can feel safe again. Jack came to the rescue and lifted my moms spirits. He played beautifully, along with his son who is an awesome drummer! It was a beautiful moment for our family and we will forever be grateful. Piper Jack was just the person we needed for my husband’s small service due to COVID. We loved the sound from his Scottish short pipes as he was easily heard when he walked around but not overpowering so people couldn’t talk. He was accommodating, supportive and comforting. It was apparent that he saw his role in the service as much more than a job. We had many positive comments regarding his service and would certainly hire him again.

Everyone is still talking about the Syracuse Highland Piper band that came to Tully. The pageantry, music, singers and stories were wonderful...a very unique and memorable experience! We've asked them to return again next year!

When i first went on gigmasters I found several bagpipers I read on all of them Jack was the only one that followed up with me and his credentials from what i read were fantastic I hired him for my dads memorial service He drove from Syracuse to Oswego to do it He came to the lunch after as i told him to come eat with us if he wanted to but i was not asking him to play. On his own he did a few pieces He is very personable Great fella all the way around and would hire him for another event if i needed or wanted one Keep up the good work Jack

A friend and I were looking for a bagpiper to perform at our house for a bit before we went to Coleman’s Green Beer Sunday event in Syracuse. Jack was very enthusiastic and contacted us to see exactly what we needed leading up to the event. The day of, we had a tent set up for jack that was blown down shortly after. He was extremely flexible and performed outside with his son on the drums. The two are incredibly talented and personable. Every one of my friends who spoke with them over the course of the day raved about how interesting and personable the two were. I highly recommend hiring jack and his son if they’re both available for your next event!!
