Hello, my name is Scott McCann and I reside in Staunton, IL.
I began learning to play bagpipes in 2007, and started competing in April 2010. As a Grade 4 competitor I most recently won 1st place for the 2/4 March, and 2nd place for the Piobaireachd, at the Central Florida Scottish Highland Games this past January.
I am a member of the St. Andrew's Society of Central Illinois Pipe Band and play at various events with the band.
I have had instructions since 2007 with Matt Pantaleoni, truly one of the best pipers in the St. Louis area, and I have received personal instructions from two world-reknowned Gold medal pipers Alisdair Gillies, and Brian Donaldson.
