Born in the St Andrews area of Scotland, I grew up hearing the distant sounds of the pipes. I'd run to wherever they were and just listen in awe. When a lad of 16, I joined the Guards School of Piping (Scots Guards) in the United Kingdom and played with the First Battalion Guards. I learned to play with a strict, regimented style - true piping. We were held to a very high standard of piping. While stationed in London, I played at Buckingham Palace (The Queens Residence) for visitors and state banquets and many other ceremonial events during my service. I also played at the funeral of Prime Minister Winston Churchill. For over 20 years I have been entertaining audiences in a myriad of events. I pipe freshmen college students into their four-year journey of education and pipe them out upon graduation. I have performed countless wedding celebrations; before, during and at the reception; I have been honored to play at numerous funerals; birthday parties; St Paddy's Day celebrations; Red Hat parties for the ladies; military reunions; Highland games; dinner parties; new golf course openings - to include playing for major golf events; marching in small town parades; nursing homes; hospitals; the list is endless! I am a professional's professional. I pipe to make people happy!!!
