We hired Stuart Paul for a graveside service for our son. Mr Paul answered the phone when I first called him and we discussed procedures for the service. He seemed very knowledgable about everything discussed. The day of the service he was the first one there waiting for us. He was dressed in Scottish attire and was tuning his bagpipe. After discussing tunes to play, I left the choices up to him. We marched down the hill to the graveside him leading the way while playing followed by the pastor and of course immediate family. I thought it very effective and moving. The only negative would be that he only played two songs. I assumed he would play throughout the service
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Stuart Paul and I am the Pipe Major ?of the Scots Highland Pipes and Drums ?of Ashby, MA.
There is nothing like the stirring music of the Great Highland Bapipe to introduce a new couple to the world. The dignity and emotion of the moment, accentuated by the pipes, evokes powerful emotions and lends a pageantry impossible with any other instrument.
I have been honored to pipe for many religious and secular ceremonies in a variety venues-—whether in a sanctuary, park, home or garden.
I know that it is often difficult to obtain the services of a piper for ceremonial occasions but I am able to accept most engagements.
